| The feeding clinic is offered once a week for children who have difficulty with any part of the eating process. Areas that are focused on include: oral motor skills, chewing and swallowing skills, eating a variety of foods, using utensils, socialization during meals, remaining seated and upright, sensory development and improving tolerance to textures and tastes. The multi-sensory aspects of eating are taken into consideration during treatment and the child is assisted in sorting the sensory information and regulating the sensory threshold to improve the child's ability to process the multi-sensory information of the meal.
