The day program is offered Mon-Thurs from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Children have the option of attending full or half-day programming that specializes in treating children of all abilities and it provides experiences on a developmental sequence. Older children are accepted into the day program if they are currently receiving home based instruction through the public school system and have weekly support from their teacher. The program focuses on developing regulation, forming relationships, intentional communication, behavioral organization, cognitive, sensory and motor skill development. Each developmental step builds upon previously acquired steps and through the early learning children will be able to develop all areas in a sequential manner. The program incorporates Sensory-Wise Communication throughout the day. Individuals on sensory diets will also receive those services and those who require extra assistance to learn self-management strategies will have individualized plans to meet their needs.
