The overall objective of speech language pathology services is to optimize an individual's ability to communicate in natural environments and thus improve their quality of life. Speech language pathology at Unlimited Learning, PLLC includes prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of communication and swallowing disorders, elective modification of behaviors related to communication and enhancement of an individual's ability to communicate. The speech language pathologists focus on evaluation of pre-speech, language, verbal and non-verbal communication and cognitive skills in multiple areas to enhance ability to participate in social and home based activities and treatment for any limitations that are discovered. The speech language pathologist will develop a treatment plan with specific strategies and outcomes following evaluation and intervention will include person-friendly treatment methods.
