Color Signs Shelli Dry, MEd, OTR/L When teaching sign language it is helpful to have a picture to look at while teaching the sign. Another option would be to engage in the activity itself while using the sign. Teaching the sign over and over again using a multitude of these options would be considered the best method. Color signs are fun to teach during playdoh, color matching games or when picking out clothing items.
